to take a “power nap” today according to the latest post on their blog:
A quick note that Plurk and the A-team will be taking a scheduled 30-45 minute power nap between 9-10 PM EDT (2-3AM EDT) later today.
Pretty long nap for a busy service like Plurk, I say. But hope it doesn’t become a habit, unlike a certain microblogging service we know of. And which reminds me of the fact that it’s been almost a fortnight since Startup Meme’s Twitter account worked for us.
Update: Plurk has been reported to be slow over the past few days according to some “Plurkaholics”, so it explains why the downtime is scheduled. Hopefully it brings back the performance to an acceptable level.
